March Performance Chevy small block serpentine conversion kits are mid-mount pulley kits that place your alternator below the centerline of the water pump. They are simple to bolt on, while still retaining your standard-rotation water pump. Serpentine belts eliminate belt throwing. The kits are available with performance pulleys for increased horsepower, high water flow ratios for increased cooling, or mid-performance ratios for a combination of both. The pulleys are CNC-machined from solid billet 6061 T-6 aluminum for a spectacular looking machine finish with a perfect fit and extra-high strength. All March Performance billet pulleys and brackets have a maintenance-free clear powdercoating. Like all Modern Classic Series cast aluminum valve covers, they accept the OEM rubber seals (not included) and bolt directly to the cylinder head. With no extra adapter required, there is less chance of leakage and the covers are only 1.625 in. tall. The covers are available with a natural cast finish and the Modern Classic script is removable and can be replaced with your custom logo. The covers include a ported PCV fitting/vacuum port and oil splash baffle on one cover. The castings are designed to be thick enough for drilling and tapping for fittings. They make Hedman Street headers so well that they guarantee them to be free from defects--including cracks in the tubes and welds--for the life of the headers. Hedman Street headers are available uncoated or in Black Maxx or their polished HTC thermal ceramic coated finishes and, as an added bonus, they also come with all necessary gaskets and mounting hardware.
