PSC's EHPS boost kits combine their cooler kit for electro-hydraulic power steering-equipped vehicles with their Apex boost kit. Together they eliminate steering issues with regard to power. A vehicle lifted with larger tires and higher offset wheels greatly increases the drag on the hydraulic power steering. Stock system pressures are set low to prevent overheating, but with aftermarket performance parts and harder use, stock pressures and lack of cooling becomes a problem. PSC Apex boost kits allow for a retune of the factory blow-off valve, allowing for an increase of steering power by 40 percent. Unfortunately, more power equals more heat and the factory system is barely acceptable. For this reason, these PSC kits include their EHPS power steering cooler—a must-have for proper operation of the boost kit. PSC EHPS boost kits come with all necessary hoses, hardware, and bracketry.
