Edelbrock AVS2 Series carburetors are the next generation of carburetors. Featuring annular flow primary boosters, adjustable secondary air valves, and a new calibration, these AVS2 carburetors offer improved idle and cruising performance. The annular flow booster design delivers improved fuel atomization to eliminate flat spots that may be encountered when the carburetor transitions from idle to full throttle. Each annular booster features eight, equally spaced orifices to improve fuel metering. The improved flow metering makes this carburetor ideal for use with a wide variety of small-block and big-block engines with either dual- or single-plane intake manifolds.

Edelbrock's Performer carburetors feature 2-piece, all-aluminum construction for cooler operating temperatures and less warping. There are no gaskets below the fuel bowl level for fewer leaks, and no plastic parts or power valves to blow out. The carbs use easily changed metering rods for precise tuning, non-adjustable secondary air valves—and the primary venturi booster is a bottom-feed design for smoother acceleration and better drivability. An Owner's Manual is included with every Edelbrock carburetor. The manuals consist of two sections: Section 1, Theory of Operation and tuning procedures which will help you be prepared to develop your own individualized calibration. Section 2, Tuning procedures will take you through a step-by-step procedure that will enable you to achieve a desirable calibration. For added ease of tuning, a Calibration reference chart for your model of carburetor is also included. Performer carburetors are available with a variety of options; select the model that best suits your needs.

The new line of Edelbrock VRS-4150 Race and Performance carburetors are packed with features that will appeal to racers, engine builders and carb tuners, as well as the hot street enthusiast looking to improve performance. The VRS-4150 carburetors are street friendly but race ready—and the one-piece, cast aluminum bodies fit all 4150 and 4500 carb flange manifolds—without requiring an adapter plate. With the new VRS Series carburetors many attributes, they make for easy tuning and great versatility in many applications. They are available in 650, 750, 850, and 950 cfm models, select the model suited to your application needs. Features, specs, and benefits: * A street throttle arm, PTFE-coated throttle shafts and built-in provisions for a standard GM three-wire TPS mount add features to the carburetor that are ideal for any user * Multiple vacuum hook-ups keep this carburetor usable on the street but still ready for the track with larger capacity fuel bowls and four circuit billet metering blocks with screw-in emulsion bleeds * The 20 percent larger capacity fuel bowls feature internal ribs to control fuel slosh, and a sculpted baffle directs incoming fuel to the sides to minimize bubbles * The floats have corner cuts to avoid shutting off the fuel flow during hard cornering, and jet extender notches and jet extenders in the rear to keep the jets covered in fuel under hard acceleration * Users are able to externally adjust idle bypass air as the adjustment screws are accessible without removing the air cleaner/scoop * The advanced idle circuit features interchangeable idle discharge jets in all four corners to allow for a smooth, clean idle with the use of big, low-vacuum camshafts * Normally found only in high end racing carbs, the VRS includes fully adjustable intermediate fuel circuits, which help to provide incredible throttle response * For greater control at high rpm, the high speed/main fuel circuit is split into two bleed circuits—one each for the lower and upper sections * As an additional feature, the power valves are located on both primaries and secondary's that support optimized jetting—the power valve will add fuel as necessary while the power valve protection circuit prevents diaphragm damage from backfires
