The Holley Sniper Transmission Controller (STC) is designed for common GM and Ford electronic 4-speed automatic transmissions. Three part numbers cover a complete range of applications—all Sniper EFI systems, Sniper 2 EFI-specific (M8 CAN connection), or a full standalone unit. The Sniper specific applications connect to your Sniper EFI system via CAN bus and are programmed through the existing Sniper 3.5 in. touch screen. No programming is available with PC computer software; however, the transmission functions can be data-logged and reviewed with Sniper PC software. The Standalone version includes a dedicated 3.5 in. touch screen and is primarily intended for carbureted engine combinations. GM and Ford 4-speed electronic overdrive transmissions are simple in operation. They have four speeds, with the top gear being an overdrive; and all have a lockup torque converter that eliminates any slippage when the lockup is applied. With a stock torque converter, the lockup should only be applied under light throttle conditions or excessive wear will occur. Upshifts, downshifts, and torque converter lockup are based on vehicle speed and throttle position (or optionally the MAP sensor) and are adjustable with the 3.5 in. touch screen. B&M Racing introduces the Precision SportShifter for 2007-18 Jeep Wrangler JK models equipped with the NSG370 6-speed manual transmission. The unit features a CNC billet aluminum case with an electric blue anodized finish which houses internal components made from super tough 4140 chromoly. The shift throw has been reduced by 35 percent over the factory shifter along with the detent pressure which has been significantly increased creating a noticeably stiffer shift feel. This was done to address problems with the softness of the factory shifter detent springs which easily pop out of gear while off-roading. The shifter uses the factory shift stick and knob.

Lakewood safety bellhousings are designed for maximum performance and durability. They are cut on CNC 5 axis laser cutters rather than plasma cutters to improve finish quality, reduce heat damage and warpage from the plasma cutter, improve speed of manufacture, and make them all exactly the same. All bellhousings feature a scalloped plate on the bottom of the transmission surface made from G70 grade steel (70,000) psi which will help eliminate stripping the transmission bolts. The engine plates are made of H60 grade material and the bells are roto-brated after welding to relive any stresses created from the hydro forming, annealing, or welding process prior to machining and painting. The roto-brating process also closes the metal on the outer surface making them stronger. Ever wonder how the SFI tests bellhousings like these Lakewood safety bellhousings?
