CURT OEM-style gooseneck hitches are built to excel in ease of installation that comes from an ingenious design—and safe, reliable towing even with heavy-duty gooseneck trailers. They're built with fewer pieces than competitor hitches to keep installation simple, and the pieces are compact so they can be lifted and bolted into place without the help of a second person. CURT also eliminated a number of steps from the process to speed up installation time and reduce the number of modifications needed on the vehicle. The hitches do not require the exhaust or spare tire to be lowered. They require no welding, temporary truck bed removal, or even bed flange trimming. Best of all, pre-existing factory holes are used to mount the hitch to the truck's frame, meaning the only drilling necessary is for the gooseneck ball hole and safety chains in the truck bed. Instead of a side handle mounted under the wheel well, a latch-locking trailer ball is used. This patented 2 5/16 in. ball easily drops into the gooseneck head from above the truck bed and is secured in place with a simple quarter-turn of the latch. The gooseneck hitches also feature heavy-duty 5/8 in. safety chain anchors for dependable security for your trailer, whether you're towing livestock, machinery, or construction materials.

When it comes to heavy-duty OEM towing packages, it's tough to beat Ford and Ram's under-bed hitch platforms. CURT OEM-compatible fifth wheel legs mount directly to the under-bed platform and allow the use of any CURT fifth wheel hitch head. Due to the variable position anchors on these brackets, the hitch head can be installed or removed with just a quarter turn—and the anchors can also be adjusted to limit hitch head movement to reduce chucking noises. In order to keep them looking as great as they perform, CURT protects them with an extremely durable carbide powdercoat co-cured in Aquence rust-resistant coating.
