Redcat Racing Machete 6S 1:6 scale 4WD brushless electric Monster trucks are a direct replacement for the popular 1:6 scale Shredder—but they're not just beefed up Shredders, they completely new vehicles. The new Machete is not only durable enough to handle the demands of 6S, but also performs exceptionally well on 4S. The ready-to-run Machete 6S comes pre-assembled and does not include a battery or charger, allowing you to use your favorite batteries and chargers. The Machete 6S includes a 4mm black anodized laser-etched 7075 aluminum chassis, a Hobbywing 8BL150-RTR 150A ESC with two XT90 connectors and a 4274 brushless motor with a heat sink and cooling fan. Three high performance oil-filled differentials provide ultra-smooth handling and stability. Each differential can be fine-tuned with different viscosity oils to alter handling. Thicker oil in the center diff provides a wild ride, making it easier to air out the front wheels, while thinner oil provides more stability and additional control during cornering, for race inspired performance. The Machete 6S comes with a cab forward body design that is complete with hard plastic skid plates and body armor to protect it from damage. The aggressive looking body is made from a flexible polycarbonate material proven to hold up well in the summer heat, as well as the winter chill. The Machete also includes a wing and wheelie bar for added stability, allowing for greater control and maneuverability. The Machete 6S is built for extreme fun and includes a heavy duty 4WD powertrain with beefy gears and CVA axles front and rear. High-strength plastics are used throughout the chassis and both the shock towers and lower A-arms have been engineered with captured shock end mounts. Large bore, oil filled, coilover shocks soak up the terrain so you can stay on the throttle. The shocks, along with several other machined aluminum parts, are anodized in a rich red color for a super trick look. The Machete's all-terrain directional tires are soft enough to grab traction wherever it can be found, yet firm enough to provide good wear characteristics. Redcat Racing 1:8 scale 6S-ready Kaiju EXT is the ultimate monster truck in performance and stability. While the Kaiju EXT started off as an extended version of the original Kaiju, it has grown into a whole new beast. The Kaiju EXT has an extended wheelbase, along with some additional major performance upgrades: new belted tires, motor heatsink with fan, new motor mount, metal servo horn, rear wing, and a new race-bred body that includes a working air scoop. The chassis provides the truck with a wheelbase of 360mm; that's an additional 51mm over the original Kaiju. The original Kaiju is an incredibly fun truck to drive, especially while using a 6S LiPo to perform standing backflips and pulling wheelies at almost any speed. The Kaiju EXT is fully capable of the same backflips and even longer wheelies due to its added stability. The Kaiju EXT's chassis is super durable and encloses the entire drivetrain to protect it from rocks and debris. Three heavy-duty sealed differentials, each with metal internal gears, are designed to provide smooth performance—and are completely tunable. The center differential helps the Kaiju EXT perform like a race-bred monster truck on or off the track. Kaiju EXT is 6S-ready and will accept single 6S or double 3S LIPO batteries. If you prefer to run 4S through the Kaiju EXT, you'll be happy to know it's also capable of running a single 4S LIPO or double 2S LIPO batteries. The Kaiju EXT uses the popular T-style battery connectors and includes a jumper for single battery pack configurations. Hobbywing's powerful 150A Brushless ESC and 4-pole 4068 2100Kv brushless motor are both waterproof and dustproof. The programmable ESC features a low voltage cutoff, as well as overheating protection. The brushless motor is fitted with an aluminum heat sink and electric cooling fan for consistent cooling and performance. This Hobbywing system provides loads of power and driving excitement. All that power requires strength and lasting durability; starting with the steering servo. The HEXFLY 25Kg metal geared digital steering servo has been fitted with a robust metal servo horn for added strength. Steel CVA driveshafts, steel internal differential gears, 17mm aluminum hex hubs, rubber sealed ball bearings, sealed drivetrain and extra durable plastics are some of the other performance and durability components standard on the Kaiju EXT. The high-strength plastics used on the Kaiju EXT have just the right amount of flex, are incredibly strong, and offer extreme impact resistance. Not only are the plastics strong, their engineering is exceptional. Redcat even added high-strength captive ball ends to the steering and suspension links to keep the Kaiju EXT going during crazy stunt sessions. The Kaiju EXT's four aluminum threaded body oil-filled coilover shocks are super smooth and provide excellent damping. The suspension is completely adjustable and tunable for most driving conditions and comes pre-tuned for most surfaces.
