Are you in need of an air-fuel-ratio monitor kit for your HP Tuned vehicle? Measure your AFRs with extreme precision using Ballenger Motorsports' AFR500v3 wideband control kits preconfigured specifically for vehicles using HP Tuners' software. As one of the most critical tools a tuner requires for properly calibrating a vehicle, the AFR500 air fuel ratio monitor provides professional grade measurement of air-fuel-ratio without breaking the bank. Ballenger AFR500v3 kits offer a linear analog output to be used as an input to engine control systems, gauges, or data acquisition systems. They are capable of reading air-fuel ratio values from 9.0:1 to 16.0:1 (standard range) with a resolution of 0.1 to provide excellent resolution in the tuning range of most performance vehicles. Key features and benefits: * Large, bright digital display controller (3.4 in. x 2.7 in. x 1.3 in.) * 13 ft. wiring harness with sealed connections * NTK production grade sensor * Standard measurement range * Display gasoline (standard) * Weld-in steel exhaust boss and plug * Mounting Velcro® * Comprehensive installation, troubleshooting, and tuning manual * 0 to 5 V analog output signal * 11 to 28 V input power (24 V system capable) * Compatibility with most aftermarket ECUs * Digitally derived output with a higher resolution digital/analog converter * 4 times the measurement resolution (4096 increments compared to the previous 1024) * ASIC chips (a common point of failure from electrostatic damage) have been replaced with a custom board providing better protection and upgrade capabilities * Ability to display from 0.0 to 6.0 in lambda setting for better flexibility with alternate fuels, such as diesel * Ability to upgrade firmware for future sensor types * All harnesses, control units, accessories, etc. are backward and forward-compatible * Options are selectable at any time via internal jumpers * NTK Calibration grade sensor highly recommended for low AFR methanol applications

Denso air/fuel ratio sensors (A/F sensors) were developed to measure air-to-fuel ratios under a wider range of driving conditions than oxygen sensors. A/F sensors, also known as wide-band oxygen sensors, send information to the engine management computer to make adjustments based on driving conditions. Their wider range and variable adjustments allow engines to burn fuel more efficiently and produce fewer emissions. As A/F sensor technology has evolved, Denso has been there every step of the way. From the first thimble-type sensors to today's heated, quick-response sensors required to meet ever more stringent emissions regulations, Denso has supplied OEMs with quality components and continues to innovate. Denso helped to develop this important technology and you can rely on Denso First Time Fit A/F sensors. Features and benefits of Denso air/fuel ratio sensors include: * Tarnish-proof platinum electrode provides longer life and maintains accuracy * Quick-response planar zirconia element quickly detects oxygen concentration * Measures air/fuel ratios from approximately 12:1 to 19:1 * Increased performance by mapping air/fuel ratios throughout the RPM range * Lower emissions by optimizing the air/fuel mixture * Reduces fuel consumption and maximizes catalytic converter life * First Time Fit design delivers the right part the first time

Oxygen sensors, also known as Lambda sensors or O2 sensors, are among the most sensitive and critical components on your car's engine. They monitor the air/fuel mixture under idle, moderate acceleration, and cruise conditions. Oxygen sensors have a smaller range of limits in detecting and adjusting the difference from an optimum air/fuel ratio than the newer wide range air/fuel sensors (A/F sensors). Today's engines may use as many as four oxygen sensors to monitor exhaust gas oxygen content and catalytic converter efficiency. In order to perform these functions properly, Denso oxygen sensors adhere to strict OE standards within incredibly close tolerances. A malfunctioning or incorrectly calibrated oxygen sensor can hurt drivability and illuminate the check engine light, resulting in costly and time-consuming repairs. Denso First Time Fit oxygen sensors are designed to meet those tolerances and more. Key features and benefits of Denso Oxygen Sensors include: * Robotic laser welds * Porous PTFE filters block efficiency-robbing contaminants * Double-protection covers maintain proper temperature for quicker response times and protect ceramic elements from silicone and lead fouling * Rugged, watertight stainless steel housings resist corrosion and contamination * Aluminum oxide trap layers keep silicone and lead out, preventing damage to the platinum electrode * Refined zirconia elements improves sensor response * Superior design maximizes engine performance while reducing fuel consumption and harmful emissions * First Time Fit design delivers the right part the first time

Replace your worn or malfunctioning vehicle speed sensor with one of these Standard Motor Products vehicle speed sensors. Depending upon a vehicle's equipment, the vehicle speed sensor commonly called a VSS may influence or control more systems than any other single sensor. Early-model vehicle speed sensors were just used to regulate the cruise control and control transmission shifts. Now, with OBD-II, vehicle speed is considered a part of the overall engine operating strategies, affecting both fuel delivery and ignition timing. The operations of the idle-air control valve and canister-purge cycle are regulated, in part, by the VSS. Automatic transmissions need VSS data to provide the best performance and mileage. Torque converter clutch operation is controlled by the VSS. In an electronically shifted transmission, VSS signals, instead of hydraulic pressure in the valve body, are used to determine shift points. Don't take chances with your vehicle's performance--insist on Standard Motor Products quality vehicle speed sensors.
