Moroso Dry Sump Oil Tanks
These Moroso dry sump oil tanks are designed to separate air quickly from the oil, prevent foaming and ensuring a continuous supply of oil to the pump under all racing conditions. As oil enters the tank, it rotates around the tank wall and de-aerates by spreading over a large surface area, allowing trapped air bubbles to dissipate quickly. This then lets the restored oil flow easily to the bottom outlet of the tank, where it can return to the pump and engine. Mishimoto Baffled Oil Catch Cans
Mishimoto baffled oil catch cans are designed to separate oil particles from the PCV air that would normally have just been routed back to your intake. They feature custom grooves in the catch can's inlet that turbulates the air longer and ensures that all of the oil sinks to the bottom, leaving nothing but clean air to pass through the 40 micron bronze filter to the intake. An internal baffle keeps the collected oil from splashing around under race conditions. S&S Cycle Oil Pump Kits
If you're overhauling an older motorcycle engine or building a lubrication system from scratch, consider the turnkey ease of S&S Cycle oil pump kits. They offer the same width oil supply and return gears as a stock Harley-Davidson® aluminum pump, but these driveshaft gears increase potential oil volume delivery by 25 percent over stock on some engines. S&S pumps are machined with an oil pressure bleed-off passage, relieving pressure build-up on top of the valve to maintain consistent oil pressure. Excess oil is also routed directly to the supply side of the pump to reduce the amount returned to the tank—which means less foaming and cavitation.
