BD Diesel Xtruded transmission oil coolers use the same high-efficiency micro-extruded bar technology that is in the BD Diesel air-to-air charge coolers, providing 22 percent more cooling over similar designs. Their 200 micro-extruded passages provide a large surface area to transfer heat for external airflow cooling, while their turbulent oil design promotes more complete cooling. They feature large 5/8 in. ports to prevent inlet/outlet restriction and furnace-brazed rails that have been tested to 300 psi of pressure. Their thermostatically controlled 80 watt, 10 in., 800 cfm electric fan offers automatic oil temperature control. The BD Diesel Xtruded transmission oil coolers are available to accommodate 5/16 in., 3/8 in., 1/2 in., or 5/8 in. transmission cooler lines and come complete with all fittings, clamps, hoses, a wiring harness with a relay and fuse, and mounting hardware. And, you can build your own bracket kit for an easier installation.
