Stromberg BIG97 carburetors feature 55 percent increased airflow to put out a whopping 250 cfm! They have the same standard 97 outside shape, but use enlarged 1.175 in. venturi with a super-efficient 20 degree entry angle. The accelerator pump discharge jets are smaller, and flared exit cones build power by slowing down the mixture to reduce turbulence into the manifold plenum. The result is 250 cfm. Wilson Manifolds high-flow throttle bodies were developed using the latest computer modeling software and test equipment available to produce designs that yield the maximum flow per square inch of cross-sectional area. These units are designed to work with Wilson's line of billet spacers—they incorporate a tapered and radiused throttle bore, along with precisely machined progressive linkage, for smooth throttle operation. They also feature inward-opening throttle blades to eliminate directional influence caused by the blades. All throttle bodies are machined from billet 6061-T6 aluminum on precision CNC machining centers for consistent quality and light weight. Most models feature brass throttle blades to control vibration and reduce thermal expansion. The throttle shafts are machined to decrease their cross-sectional area, which increases the actual cross-section available for airflow. These multi-port fuel injection throttle bodies are available in 1- or 4-venturi models, with different diameters and airflow rate options. Dual-plane Performer Vortec intake manifolds are based on Edelbrock's popular Performer Series. They're intended for small block Chevy engines fitted with either 1996 and later cast iron Vortec heads or Edelbrock E-Tec aluminum heads. They are great for street rods, engine swaps, or industrial applications. They're set up for either square-bore or spread-bore carburetors and produce power from idle to 5,500 rpm. They have no provision for an exhaust-heated choke.

Edelbrock Performer RPM Vortec intake manifolds are based on their highly successful Performer family. They're designed for street rods, marine applications, and a host of engine swaps using small block Chevy V8s with 1996 and later Vortec (L31) cast iron heads or Edelbrock's E-Tec aluminum heads. They accept single square bore carbs only and have an external water bypass boss machined into the front of the water crossover for use on 1996 and later Vortec production engines. Their 1,500 rpm to 5,500 rpm power band makes them an excellent choice for a wide range of setups.
