At low-load, the primaries feed the air/fuel charge through the smaller bottom passages at near sonic speed, improving power and efficiency. Edelbrock C-26 dual quad intake manifolds are designed for 1955-86 262-400 c.i.d. small block Chevys. These intake manifolds have a low-profile design for low hood clearance on most vehicles. Edelbrock includes air conditioning bosses and front oil-filler tube bosses, however, stock alternator brackets will not fit. The distance between carburetor centers is 6 7/16 in.
