UMI Performance transmission mounted torque arms are supplied with a low-deflection front bushing designed to replace the stock rubber bushing and bolt in the existing clamshell. The rear torque arm mount is constructed entirely of 0.375 in. thick, CNC-machined mild steel and is fully MIG-welded. These torque arms feature on-car adjustability for easy pinion angle adjustments using a 4140 heat-treated adjuster and 3/4 in. rod ends. These kits are designed to get your vehicle consistently leaving the line straight, eliminate torque steer, and drastically improve 60 ft. times. The included adjustable end links allow vehicle preload to be set for straight launches. UMI's end links feature heavy-duty chromoly rod ends, which have a hard chrome plating and a PTFE self-lubricating race. The end links attach to the drag bars using 5/8 in. Grade 8 bolts and locknuts. These heavy-duty rear drag bars attach to the axle tubes using high-strength 4140 chromoly U-bolts, 3/16 in. thick fabricated mounts, and Energy Suspension bushings. The fabricated bushing mounts feature CNC-machined teeth to prevent sliding on the axle.
