Summit Racing™ Our Direct Fit Chevrolet and GMC Truck Reproduction Battery Cables are Made In The USA using the original GM specifications to insure a perfect fit. All of our battery cables are upgraded with High Performance Cross-Linked Polyethylene type insulation rated at 125C and are nearly impervious to oils, fuels, chemicals and typical engine temperatures unlike the PVC insulation type cables used during production. They are guaranteed to fit and outlast your OEM battery cables. They include any factory installed convoluted conduits, looms, insulating sleeves, mounting clamps, correct size side post bolt hex head on the battery terminals and appropriate angled ring terminals for that perfect routing and fit. Our battery cables are not service type assemblies designed to replace the factory installed cables. They are built to match the original cables GM installed when the trucks were new. APR Boost Tap Adapter Kits
APR boost tap adapter kits are modular systems that plug directly into the intake manifold and make several configuration options available. APR modular boost tap and PCV bypass systems feature a tap used for referencing boost or vacuum from the manifold, a cap (if this feature is unneeded), a T-junction to allow for multiple boost and vacuum references, and a "no buzz" restrictor pill for proper manual boost gauge operation. The systems also include a threaded PCV plug, allowing the PCV system to operate as intended by the OEM, as well as blocked off, if needed, for a specific PCV or catch-can setup. Temporarily installing the threaded plug also allows for quick diagnosis of the PCV valve for boost leaks. Summit Racing™ Stainless Steel Fuel and Brake Hard Lines
Summit Racing™ stainless steel multipurpose hard lines are ideal for plumbing your brake or fuel systems. These Marine-grade, 316L Polished stainless lines feature a standard 0.028 in. wall thickness for strength while remining workable and are soft-annealed for easier flaring, cutting and bending compared to other stainless steel lines. Molybdenum is also added for ultimate corrosion resistance. These lines meet SAE J1677 and ASTM A249 specifications. They're rated for a minimum burst pressure of 5,945 psi (and higher depending on line OD) and have been pressure tested and checked for safety. Order the tubing diameter needed for your applications. NOTE: Stainless steel is more difficult to bend and flare, compared to typical steel line. We recommend that a professional-grade flaring tool be used with these lines. Stainless steel can also be difficult to seal when replacing an existing brake or fuel line. The previously installed line can create a wear pattern on the flare seat which will not allow the new stainless steel flare to seal properly. When replacing an existing line we recommend a thorough inspection of the existing brake fitting, fuel fitting, junction block, wheel cylinder, brake caliper, etc. It's possible that the existing component may need to be replaced for a proper seal.
