Mr. Gasket Header Studs
Bolts can work just fine for header installations, but Mr. Gasket's header studs offer some distinct advantages. Most importantly, they help prevent stripped threads in aluminum heads. Beyond that, they also make lining up the headers for installation a lot easier. Some studs have special narrow tips to make that alignment task even easier, and some are made from Grade 8 steel for extra strength. The matching self-locking flange nuts are available in both hex-head and 12-point styles. For corrosion protection, the studs have a black oxide finish, while the nuts are brightly zinc plated.
