COMP Cams offers a complete line of valve seals, from the stock GM O-rings to the positive-stop PTFE seals. They are a must to keep unwanted oil from entering the combustion chamber through the clearance in the valve guides. The O-ring seals use the standard retainer and oil splash shield. The umbrella seals are normally used when a larger-than-stock diameter spring is used. In the case of a double spring, the positive stop PTFE seals are used. For triple-spring applications, use the smaller-diameter Viton® seals.

These COMP Cams arbor/pilots also work with valve guide cutters (sold separately) used for shortening the guide for a high lift cam or installing a COMP Cams PTFE seal for oil control.

These quality arbors/pilots from Powerhouse are available in many different sizes to fit your application. Order the according arbor/pilot for cutting the O.D. of a valve guide or a spring seat on the head.
