The range of these thread restorer sets extend from small fractional or metric re-thread tap or die sets, to extensive master kits which include both SAE and metric re-thread dies and taps—some including fine and coarse thread tools. Select larger Lang Tools thread restorer sets include one or more thread restorer files. The re-threading taps and dies are highly tempered for strength and durability and are 6-point shaped for use with a socket or wrench. Taps and dies are color-coded for quick visual identification. Most sets are packaged in a high-impact styrene tray, some with a clear cover for display and storage. Note: Use with light oil. Never use to cut new threads.
