NOS solid-state relays address the need for reliable, rugged, and affordable control of various electrical equipment on your race car. Originally designed to control the high-current switching loads of nitrous solenoids, these relays can also be used to control other high-current devices—such as electric water pumps, trans-brakes, and line locks. NOS relays feature an ultra-low activation/release time of less than 16 microseconds to ensure no delays in reaction times. The solid-state relays can also be Pulse Width Modulated (PWM) with no minimum-duty cycle at frequencies up to 1000hz. NOS solid state relays feature: * 5-20 V DC operation * Rugged solid-state circuitry * Easy 3-wire connection * Included terminated pigtail * Included extra contacts for build-your-own wiring * Ultra-fast activation, under 16 microseconds * Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) compatible * PWM 0-100 percent * Up to 1000hz frequency * Vibration-resistant * Maximum continuous current = 40 amps * Maximum switching current = 20 amps

Caspers Electronics' new-design plug and play Hi-Lo fan controllers install easily on the PWM-controlled coolant fan found on C6 Corvettes. The factory coolant fan is powerful and incorporates a solid-state controller instead of relays (as in previous years and models). These Hi-Lo fan controllers interface with the factory controllers and permit manual coolant fan control. Caspers Electronics Hi-Lo fan controllers simply plug into the fan connector and include a round rocker switch that matches similar design control switches found in the console. Using this switch allows the vehicle operator to manually override the ECU control of the coolant fan to force-cool the engine, even when the car is unattended and not running. These control modules are designed to be plugged in between the sealed fan connector and its mate. These modules are completely sealed from moisture and contaminants and incorporate three sealed connectors. Caspers Electronics Hi-Lo fan controllers require a 20mm mounting hole to be drilled and have three switch positions--Low, which is half-speed fan control, Normal, which is controlled by the car's ECU, and High, which is maximum coolant fan speed. This gives the driver complete control over engine cooling. The switch can override fan control unattended, even with no key in the ignition.

Melling timing chain sets are designed for use with either performance or stock cams. They have a solid-bushing chain for a true bearing surface that rolls with the sprockets, eliminating chain stretch. The crank gears are machined from stress-proof steel. Most Melling timing chain sets have three keyways to ensure accurate timing for early or late model vehicles, and to allow you to set the cam timing at 4 degrees advanced, 4 degrees retarded, or stock. However, 50-state (stock replacement) sets have single keyways. The chains are available in several styles, such as single or double roller, single non-roller, and link belt. Melling timing chain sets are not for use above 6,500 rpm. Order the model designed for your vehicle application.
