The OEM part has restrictive internal passages; and when the OEM valve fails in the open position, transmission fluid doesn't reach your cooler. This can be caused by mechanical failure or debris. The result of stock valve failure can cause the transmission to dangerously overheat. Without properly cooled transmission fluid, the demands of towing and rigorous stop-and-go driving conditions shorten the life of transmission components. ARB Differential Breather Kits
ARB differential breather kits are important to vent air pressure in drivetrain assemblies, and they eliminate the shortcomings of your factory breathers—especially when driving through water crossings. ARB units are high-flow, zero backpressure, zero vacuum breather systems. Each features a high-flow air filter within a central manifold that will allow up to four drivetrain assemblies to be vented to one central location--ideally somewhere on the vehicle that will be above the water level at all times. ARB differential breather kits are intended to replace your factory breathers and contain enough fittings and tubing to connect at least two drivetrain assemblies.
