ATS Diesel Performance cooler bypass delete kits are designed to help keep your transmission cooler, while also protecting seals and ensuring a more trouble-free operation. Over time, the bypass can malfunction and cause fluid to bypass the cooler. Eliminating this component with an ATS delete kit assures that all the fluid flows through the cooler. Order the model recommended for your vehicle, engine, and transmission application.

Pacific Performance Engineering offers automatic transmission fluid bypass valves for a variety of applications. The OEM part has restrictive internal passages; and when the OEM valve fails in the open position, transmission fluid doesn't reach your cooler. This can be caused by mechanical failure or debris. The result of stock valve failure can cause the transmission to dangerously overheat. Without properly cooled transmission fluid, the demands of towing and rigorous stop-and-go driving conditions shorten the life of transmission components. This PPE bypass valve eliminates the mechanical valve—which maximizes fluid flow from the transmission cooler. For further protection, a Neodymium magnet-equipped service plug has been added. The removable plug traps ferrous debris and can be accessed to remove particles from the system. The factory part does not have this feature. Additional notes: * Billet aluminum construction * Neodymium magnet-equipped service plug with O-ring * Easy to install * Limited lifetime warranty

The OE pressure regulator valve design prevents adequate cooler flow at low rpm and high-pressure conditions, which can create overheating. Additionally, in 1999 and later vehicles, the factory EPC pressure was set high at idle, resulting in engine surge conditions in GM 4L80-E and 4L85-E units. Sonnax lube-regulated pressure regulator valves provide a significant increase in cooler flow under low rpm and high-pressure conditions that benefits all vehicles—and eliminates the need for reprogramming 1999 and later vehicles with high EPC pressure at idle.

Vehicles with a GM 8L45 or 8L90 automatic transmission may exhibit high or low line pressure that results in harsh/soft shifts, burnt clutches, loss of cooler and lube flow, and overheating of the transmission and converter. These problems may be caused by wear of the pressure regulator bore casting at the VFS signal port area and/or at the shuttle valve sleeve. Wear at the inboard port of the pressure regulator bore allows VFS (throttle) signal pressure to leak, preventing proper action of the pressure regulator valve and potentially allowing it to remain in the low line pressure position. Wear of the shuttle sleeve due to continuous oscillation of the shuttle valve creates a path for balance line pressure at the pressure regulator valve to exhaust, resulting in excessive low line pressure. Sonnax drop-in pressure regulator and shuttle valve kits restore hydraulic integrity to the lineup by addressing wear that subjects the transmission to either excessively high or low line pressure with upgraded materials and unique designs. The pressure regulator valve has been designed with a lengthened spring pocket spool at the VFS signal port area, which provides over double the sealing capability to this critical end of the valve and allows it to operate in unworn portions of the bore. The length of the critical shuttle valve diameter has been significantly lengthened to provide better sealing and durability of the assembly. Additional details: * Hardcoat anodized aluminum valves and highly wear-resistant billet aluminum sleeve combat premature wear * Pressure regulator valve VFS signal spool 200 percent longer than OE and operates in unworn area of the bore * Critical shuttle valve spool made 30 percent longer than OE for added sealing and durability * Drop-in Zip Valve parts install quickly and easily Kit contents: * Pressure regulator valve * Spring * Shuttle valve * Shuttle sleeve

DRP Performance offers premium low drag bearing kits for a wide range of applications, including many Ford, Chevy, and Pontiac cars from the 1960s, '70s, '80s, and '90s. Low drag hub components reduce friction and lower temperatures, making your wheels spin easier, delivering more horsepower to the track—all while reducing maintenance and making your race car faster. Enhance your performance on oval track asphalt, oval track dirt, drag racing, road racing, and street applications. Kits include a DPR bearing spacer, DRP Premium Super finished Bearing Kit, and DRP Ultra low drag seal. Here are details on each component: * DRP Bearing Spacer: A difference you can feel—in the pits and on the track. Bearing spacers make the most difference of any low drag hub upgrade. Properly installed, these spacers will provide an immediate increase in hub free spin, an improvement large enough to feel just by pushing the car around. And the benefit doesn't stop there. Bearing spacers make the most difference when a side load (cornering force) is applied. Drivers have commented on how much faster a car with bearing spacers free rolls when entering and through the center of the corner. Bearing spacers simplify and reduce hub maintenance. Spindle nut torque is no longer sensitive. In fact, with spacers installed, you can tighten the spindle nut as much as you want without overtightening the bearings. (DPR recommends 20-40 lbs.-ft.) Bearings will run cooler and do not need to be repacked as often. Bearing spacers are simple to install. DRP bearing spacers have a threaded adjustment, allowing the user to quickly set bearing end play or preload. A set-screw locks the spacer at the desired adjustment. Once installed, they do not need to be readjusted unless you replace the hub or bearings. Bearing spacers are used in virtually every application in professional motorsports. * DRP Premium Super finished Bearing Kit: Reduce bearing temperature by over 100 degrees F verses stock bearings! Increase free spin by over 250 percent! DPR starts with premium quality bearings and puts them through a super finishing process. This process removes the grind marks and greatly smooths the surface of the bearing roller, while leaving a "hatch" pattern to retain grease. Quality wheel bearings will last the life of most racing applications. * DRP Ultra Low Drag Seal: …billet aluminum, full PTFE sealing lip, reusable, great for any application: dirt, asphalt, road race, street Decrease seal drag by over 1,000 percent! Air gap seals create an "air curtain" to keep debris out and eliminate drag completely! DRP Ultra Low Drag hub seals are true, purpose-built, high performance seals. The housing is made from lightweight aluminum. The sealing element is a special PTFE blend, giving it natural low friction qualities. Seals are reusable. Order the kit recommended for your vehicle.

Bearing spacers are used in virtually every application in professional motorsports, and they make the most difference of any low drag hub upgrade. Reduce friction and roll faster with DRP Performance Hub Defenders. These bearing spacers increase wheel speed by over 1,200 percent, allow the bearings to run cooler, and reduce hub maintenance. Simple to install, DRP Hub Defenders have a threaded adjustment, allowing the user to quickly set bearing end play or preload, and a setscrew locks the spacer at the desired adjustment. Once installed, they do not need to be readjusted unless you replace the hub or bearings. Select the Hub Defenders with the proper specs for your application.

GM 6L45, 6L50, 6L80 and 6L90 automatic transmission units may exhibit multiple line pressure and cooler/converter/lube flow problems due to excess wear in the pressure regulator bore. Deterioration at the balance spool end allows critical fluid loss, resulting in high line pressure, harsh shifts, and overheating due to reduced cooler/converter flow. Wear at the outboard spool robs converter feed pressure and lowers line pressure, resulting in soft shifts and burnt clutches. Installing a Sonnax pressure regulator valve kit restores the hydraulic integrity of these circuits for proper line pressure control in all ranges. A new pressure regulator valve outer spring is also included to replace weakened original springs and provide a modest 5 psi increase across the pressure curve. Additional details: * Hardcoat anodized aluminum valve combats premature wear * Lengthened critical spools operate in non-worn portion of bore for added stability and wear prevention * Annular grooves help center valve in bore to reduce future side-load wear * Drop-in Zip Valve parts install quickly and easily Kit contents: * Valve * Spring * Drill bit .040 in. * 2 checkballs (1 extra)
