These cap and rotor kits from MSD are replacements for the 44 amp Pro Mags, or the 12 amp band clamp models. The caps are molded form alkyd material and have excellent high-voltage characteristics. Brass spark plug style terminals are used for solid connections and a firm grip to the plug wire terminal. The rotors are injection-molded from Dupont Rynite, a strong glass-reinforced material. Tall vanes are molded on the top of the rotors to stir up the air, preventing ozone buildup and crossfire from occurring.
