Wilwood GS compact master cylinders have a re-buildable design featuring high-pressure diecast aluminum bodies with a protective E-coat finish. These master cylinders are available with an integrated reservoir or with a 7/16 in.-20 threaded inlet for a remote reservoir. The internal components have refined return spring and piston assemblies, assuring positive pressure control, along with a quick and complete release. AFCO Racing conventional master cylinders feature stainless steel bores, double return springs, an exclusive wire design, and a non-flex, lightweight aluminum housing. It's important to match the proper size AFCO Racing master cylinders to your vehicle's weight, type of racing, and driving style. Smaller master cylinder bores will create higher pressure in the system, while larger master cylinder bores create more volume in the system and will tend to give the pedal a firmer feel and less travel. The stainless steel bores eliminate premature wear and the need for constant rebuilding. The double return springs keep pedal vibration and movement from shaking the pistons, while reducing pad wear from the driver riding the pedal, and the wire design prevents loss of the lid.
