Radium Engineering heat exchanger mounting clamps are a perfect match with their fuel filters. These units have a conductive 6063 aluminum design with cooling fins that help dissipate heat. The units design directly clamps to the fuel filter body with two countersink stainless steel screws. For maximum efficiency, the unit must be mounted in a location where cool air can pass through the cooling fins, such as underneath the vehicle. Four stainless steel screws are also included for mounting to the chassis. These mounting clamp units are bright-dip anodized black with a laser engraved design.

Air filters are too often overlooked. WIX air filter elements play a vital part in preventing foreign particles like soot, carbon, and abrasives from damaging your engine. Even the smallest dust particles can damage cylinder walls, pistons and piston rings and cause premature engine wear. WIX panel air filters provide air with a linear path and low restriction. They have special pocket pleats in the media, held together with specially formulated adhesive. The filter media is framed by a urethane sealing gasket and is supported (when applicable) by a mesh screen, which are both molded in place with the filter element. WIX radial air filters feature a mesh screen on the inside and outside walls for element strength and media protection from backfires. Each filter is held together with heat-resistant plastisol with specially designed seals on the top and bottom walls and an adhesive seal that joins the media ends. WIX air filter elements for medium and heavy-duty trucks use more expensive compounds like silicone, rather than foam or rubber sealing gaskets, in order to assure a proper seal under harsh conditions. Their media feature embossed pleats and pleat stabilization beads that help the filter trap more dirt and last longer. End caps are designed with structure and fit in mind, many with metal end caps with handles, which allow for ease of installation and helps ensure that the filter becomes one with the housing to protect the engine.
