S&B Filters Intake Boot Kits

S&B Filters intake boot kits are built to last a lifetime. All boots come with stainless steel hose clamps so you don't have to reuse the old OEM clamps. These kits are available with different components for use on a variety of Ford F-250 and F-350 trucks from the mid-1990s. Here are the contents: * MODEL SBF-83-2012: Comes with (2) stainless steel hose clamps. Direct replacement for the failure-prone orange turbo intake boot found on 1994-96 OBS Powerstroke trucks. Does not fit E Series vans or 1997 trucks equipped with the black turbo intake boot. S&B Intake boot is made with four plies of aramid reinforcement and extremely strong silicone rubber to last the lifetime of your vehicle. Replaces Ford turbo inlet 1820102C2. * MODEL SBF-83-2013: Comes with (4) T-bolt clamps and (4) hose clamps. Only use the T-bolt clamps for the lower spider clamp locations if they have been reinforced with Riff Raff Plenum inserts. Use the hose clamps if they have not been reinforced. You will have two clamps left over after the install. The turbo intake hose only replaces the factory orange boot and will not fit E-Series vans or 1997 OBS trucks with the black turbo intake boot. The S&B turbo boot and intake manifold plenum boots made with aramid reinforcement and extremely strong silicone rubber to last the lifetime of your vehicle. Replaces Ford turbo inlet 1820102C2 and intake manifold boots F6TZ-6C640-A.

APR Throttle Body Inlet Systems

APR throttle body inlet system is a comprehensive upgrade to the factory charge pipe system from the intercooler outlet to the throttle body. APR replaces all the components and provide a new, larger, free flowing system that flows roughly 34 percent more than stock. This was achieved by increasing the cross-sectional area of the system and by reducing the tight radius bend directly in front of the throttle body. This system does away with two potential boost leak points thanks to their single cast design. They have upgraded the intercooler outlet hose to a multiply wire-reinforced silicone design with T-bolt clamps that resist boost leak over the stock counterpart. APR's new billet throttle body to manifold adapter provides a convenient boost and vacuum reference point which can be used to for a gauge or anything else that suits your build. Lastly the system comes complete with new throttle body and intake manifold gaskets, which are common leak points many never know to address.
