COMP Cams Ultra Pro Magnum XD Roller Rocker Arms
Built to outlast and outperform in accuracy and strength, Ultra Pro Magnum XD roller rocker arms are engineered from durable 8650 steel and include a machined billet pushrod seat insert for a wide range of super accurate ratios. A unique and wide ratio range to fit almost any popular application from 1.5 to 1.8 in 0.5 in. increments for Chevy and 1.6 to 1.73 for various Ford applications is available. These Ultra Pro Magnum XD rockers are fully rebuildable and boast precision-sorted needle bearings and hardened roller tips. And, they work with most diameter springs and retainers. The XD design utilizes advanced FEA and CAD design and development to improve strength, stiffness and MOI (moment of inertia) optimization for drag and circle track applications.

COMP Cams High Energy Hydraulic Lifters
These High Energy hydraulic lifters from COMP Cams feature a patented, constant orifice-metering valve that precisely meters oil to the rocker arms. Continuous contact between the metering valve and the precisely coined bottom surface of the pushrod seat is maintained throughout the engine's rpm range, eliminating excessive oiling at high speeds. The pushrod seat is made of a special powdered metal iron alloy, heat-treated for strength and wear resistance. The longer piston is produced with through-hardened steel that provides more bearing surface and increased lifter longevity. These lifters have a lightweight check valve disk that allows for quicker response, resulting in increased engine speed before valve float.

Because all roller cam lobes are ground flat instead of tapered, like hydraulic or solid cams, COMP Cams provides a means of holding the cam back to the rear of the engine. Their cam buttons ride between the front of the timing gear and the back of the front cover and can be shimmed for proper endplay of the cam. Everything from casting techniques to valve spring clearance was scrutinized to ensure that Ultra Pro Magnum rocker arms not only lived up to the lofty standards of their predecessor, but also took stud mount rocker performance, stability, and value to a whole new level. The most noticeable advancement centers around their nearly unbreakable investment cast 8650 chromoly body. The arched, web-like design delivers a nearly 29 percent increase in strength and rigidity, while reducing the moment of inertia and optimizing the dynamic balance. The resulting rockers maximize lift and valvetrain control at high rpm. The increased retainer and valve spring clearances of the new design enable the use of large-diameter valve springs, retainers, and locks, without clearance or fitment issues. The new black oxide exterior finish offers a distinctive appearance, along with long-term corrosion resistance.
