Sonnax 10-Clutch Drums

Sonnax 10-clutch drums are optimized for Powerglide performance applications. Using the patented Sonnax 10-clutch drum system, the drums accept 10 frictions and 10 steels, increasing lockup surface to allow significantly more torque than modified OE drums. They feature a piston bore that is .060 in. deeper for greater piston travel than was available from earlier Sonnax 10-clutch drums.

Features include:

* Drum holds .060 in. frictions and .060 in. thick steels (10 each)
* Excess material removed from high-strength, cast steel drum to reduce rotating mass
* Accepts 24 or 12-tooth steels
* Use with Sonnax clutch pistons and 10-clutch hubs with lightening holes

Note: Sonnax 10-clutch drums and pistons should only be used as matched parts.
