FiTech Go-Spark Ready-To-Run Distributors

FiTech Go-Spark Ready-To-Run distributors have a built-in module for easy installation with a simple 3-wire hook up, negating the need to run an external ignition control box. They are perfect distributors for a crate engine or when replacing an old points-triggered distributor. Each one features a CNC-machined 6061 T-6 aluminum housing with a centerless ground shaft. The shaft rides on an upper sealed roller bearing with an extended length lower bronze Oil-Lite bushing for smooth operation at high rpms and extended service life. A high-output magnetic pickup and large paddle wheel reluctor provides a strong trigger signal at high rpms, while the built-in high performance inductive storage module supplies unrivaled energy to the coil ensuring maximum performance at all rpm levels. The fully adjustable mechanical advance is welded to the top of the shaft for easy access and is plated to reduce friction and prevent corrosion for long term durability. An adjustable vacuum advance canister allows you to dial in the ideal timing curve to meet your high performance or cruising needs. FiTech Go-Spark Ready-To-Run distributors have caps and rotors molded in high-quality 30+ percent glass fiber reinforced polyester (PBT) that offers both high-impact and dielectric strength while resisting carbon tracking. PerTronix Flame-Thrower plug-and-play marine distributors are an amazing piece of equipment that'll have your engine purring like a kitten. They're easy to install; simply connect two wires and you're ready to go. The Ignitor III® module increases spark energy, burn time, horsepower, and mileage, as well as improving combustion. Memory function stores rev limits, while built-in reverse polarity and over-current protection shuts down the system to prevent damage. PerTronix distributors feature lubricated bronze lower bushings and upper ball bearings—which work in conjunction for decreased friction and high rpm vibration—and an adjustable mechanical advance (with limiting functions) permits multiple settings. These distributors are factory set with a performance advance curve, and additional springs are provided for custom advance curves. A suppression style or spiral-wound spark plug wires must be used.
