This flexibility allows users to tailor their rear-end setup to specific needs and applications.

Strange offers their rear axle housings in a variety of configurations, from just the center housing to complete, ready-to-bolt-in assemblies. The axle housings are designed and manufactured to be more rigid and stronger than OEM housings. Depending on the application, they're fabricated from proprietary nodular iron (substantially stronger than cast iron) and other quality materials—then fixture-welded to ensure proper alignment; slotted for full tube engagement; and reinforced at critical areas to reduce center section and axle tube flex. Whether your car is headed for the street, the track, or the drag strip, customize the rear-end with a Strange rear axle housing so it will meet or exceed your expectations.

These Driveshaft Shop Level 5 axle systems have been the most copied drivetrain components for front wheel drive cars to date because they work great and are very affordable. The bar has been raised for these Level 5 axles. They use the 1.4 O.D. outer CVs from the Level 6 systems, and have made the center bar larger by changing from 1 in. to 1.125 in. (now 34-tooth). They also feature a redesigned inner CV with an even larger tripod design. These systems are made to handle up to 800 hp and 28 in. tires.

Artec Industries Ford SuperDuty front axle trusses deliver a revolutionary low-profile design. They take the years of race and recreational abuse of Artec's first generation of trusses and add additional strength and functionality. Their key feature is how the truss top now bends around the differential for a better fit and clearance, making them ideal for vehicles needing more up-travel or for those building low center of gravity vehicles. The overall low-profile design means your axle is stronger, sleeker, easier to fit into any vehicle, and less likely to interfere with vehicle components. Features: * 3/8 in. thick mild steel truss top and 1/4 in. mild steel ram mount and gussets * Precision CNC-cut and bent for great fitment * Truss has super low-profile allowing better clearance for oil pans * Truss spans entire length of axle for complete reinforcement of the axle tubes * Truss is reinforced using interlocked 1/4 in. thick gussets for maximum strength and easy assembly * Main interlocking gussets are wider than Gen1 trusses adding overall strength to truss * Internal gussets conform tightly to the contours of the differential allowing you to weld to it for additional strength and rigidity * Truss is clearanced for differential breather tube

The Driveshaft Shop Evolution VII / VIII / IX Level 0 complete front performance axles feature a chromoly center bar, a real billet inner CV, a larger oversized tripod, and a new heat treat on the 1117 billet outer. The outer CV is custom-made with a single arc design—a time/wear advantage over the factory dual arc design that tends to wear out prematurely. This is a superior axle for any stock replacement or swap. Axles come with removable ABS rings. They're designed as an alternative to cheap re-builds or inferior aftermarket axles that are sold today. (The Driveshaft Shop does not consider this a racing axle and does not offer warranty against breakage.)

Stock rear-ends are typically built with a non-floating design--and because your wheels are bolted to the axle, if the C-clip fastener or axle happens to break, you could lose a wheel. By contrast, Allstar Performance 9 in. floater housing kits are a safer and more versatile replacement option. These steel stock housings are available in a variety of widths, centered or offset. They're jig-welded for proper alignment and feature a differential center section and wall axle tubes with spindle pins, plus gear case mounting studs and fill and drain plugs. (Depending on the kit you order, additional components may be included.) Select the size needed for your application, and then improve your axle setup with a floater housing kit from Allstar Performance.
