The CURT Spectrum trailer brake controller gives you powerful, precise braking operation in an extremely simple and subtle design inside your vehicle. It features an LED-equipped, rotary knob interface and a separate main module with an advanced accelerometer. This allows for an OE look and feel to be maintained inside the cab of your vehicle. The separated design of the Spectrum brake control allows the main module to be mounted behind the dash of the vehicle, completely out of sight. Meanwhile, the compact, unobtrusive interface can be fully integrated into the dash with just a single hole. The interface of the Spectrum trailer brake controller is simple but powerful. It is a single rotary knob with a push-button in the center that allows the driver to adjust brake power output. It is equipped with ten tri-color LEDs (red, blue, and green) to show the automated power output of the control. There is no need for a separate display or additional controls, keeping the dash of your vehicle clean, professional, and uncluttered. Behind the Spectrum brake controller is a powerful main module with a triple-axis motion-sensing accelerometer. This advanced circuit can detect the inertia of the vehicle and trailer on all axes of three-dimensional space. Whatever your speed and whatever grade you are travelling on—up hill or down--the Spectrum brake control produces the exact amount of power needed for a smooth, safe stop every time. The main module can be mounted with the included mounting brackets or adhesive patch. The Spectrum electric brake controller is a fully compatible unit, able to operate up to eight trailer brakes at a time. It can be used on vehicles with ABS brakes and cruise control, and it works with low-voltage and PWM systems. It installs in ten minutes or less, using a quick-plug harness that is vehicle-specific and plugs into any CURT brake control for a custom-fit installation in the vehicle. The Spectrum also has automatic leveling and calibration features to simplify the setup process.

These kits are laser-cut for a precise fit on your vehicle. They're designed to center the tongue weight of the trailer directly over the rear axle and springs, providing a smoother ride, and are attached to the frame for optimum strength. These kits contain brackets and rails coated with a durable rust and corrosion-preventative A-coat, and contain all of the necessary hardware for easy mounting. Most heavy-duty trailers are available in both gooseneck and 5th wheel designs; however, if you want to use your truck bed for anything more than towing, gooseneck is the best bet. Your gooseneck trailers have the advantage of attaching to a ball centered in the bed of the truck over the rear axle, which puts its tongue weight directly over the springs, providing a smoother ride. These hitches feature a removable 2 5/16 in. trailer ball, a center locator for an easy installation, 5/8 in. safety chain loops, and a 3/8 in handle with double locking pins for added safety. They have a chrome plated trim ring and a rubber cover for a finished look. No welding or removal of the bed is needed, but an installation kit is required. There's no end to the sizes and types of gooseneck trailers on the market. CURT double lock EZr gooseneck hitches are rated at a gross tow weight (GTW) of 30,000 lbs. and 6,000 lbs. tongue weight; however, you should always check with your vehicle's manufacturer for maximum safe rates.

Today with any roller, if you have load against the locking pin or mechanism, you have to jockey the truck and keep getting in and out trying the handle until it disengages. Enter Husky's 10 to 26 composite slider, which temporarily positions the kingpin 10 in. behind the cruising location, so low speed truck and trailer maneuvers can be executed without worries of the trailer coming into contact with the truck's cab.
