Summit Racing™ Pro LS Automotive cams are affordable and designed in stages with very specific cam timing for each individual application in cathedral and rectangle port versions. This ensures maximum performance and gives you the idle you are looking for. The lobes are designed for stability at high rpm with the spring pressures found in quality .600 and .670 in. spring packs. Careful design guarantees the cams can be installed with minimal difficulty. Although piston to valve clearance should always be verified, the Stage 2 and 3 cams often allow for additional cylinder head milling. The Stage 4 cams often require no changes but can be degreed slightly different as needed. Starting with American bearing steel, they are precision machined on a Landis 3LB CNC grinder with CBN diamond wheels for unmatched quality.

Summit Racing™ Pro LS Turbo cams are affordable and specifically designed to optimize cam timing with turbochargers. The lobes are stable up to 7,000-plus rpm with the exhaust lobes opening softly against high cylinder pressure for reduced stress on the valvetrain. Overlap has also been reduced in order to prevent reversion, which is typically seen with higher turbine inlet pressures. They come in distinct stages that give you the idle, spool, and power characteristics that match your engine and turbocharger. Starting with American bearing steel, they are precision machined on a Landis 3LB CNC grinder with CBN diamond wheels for unmatched quality. The lobes have been designed for stability at high rpm with the spring pressures found in commonly available quality spring packs.

We've taken our original Ready-to-Run billet distributors and upped the ante with our Summit Racing™ Digital RTR (Ready-to-Run) Plus billet distributors. They now feature a digital module with a 7.5 amp rated dwell control circuit for maximum energy output. They deliver 400 volts and 125mJ of spark energy to the coil and upwards of 50,000 volts from the coil to the spark plugs. We've also added a single-stage rev limiter with a simple "tap to ground" process of the tachometer lead attached to the module to set the limiter. The tachometer dual purpose lead also produces a 25 percent duty cycle, square wave signal, so it can be used with multifunction tachometers and most popular aftermarket EFI systems. Another bonus feature of our digital technology is a fully automatic start retard. This built-in feature provides 4 degrees of timing retard during cranking and is fully dialed out by 300 rpm. This gives you easier and quicker hot restarts while lowering the initial start load on the starter and electrical system. With all these upgraded features, you're assured of peak output throughout all RPM ranges, quicker hot starts, EFI capability and the reliability of digital technology. The distributors still have the same lightweight, forged, precision CNC-machined aluminum housing for strength and stability; polished steel shafts with sealed ball bearings for stable operation through 10,000 rpm; and a maintenance-free, high-output magnetic trigger for accurate and reliable performance. All distributors come with a high-quality, 30 percent glass-filled PBT cap and rotor with brass terminals and contacts. An ignition box is not required for use with Summit Racing™ Digital RTR Plus billet distributors except when used with an aftermarket EFI system. These cams have slightly narrower lobe separation to increase torque and compliment short runner intakes. They come in distinct cam timing increments to give you maximum control over the power band. They're also designed with longevity in mind by taking stress off the valvetrain. These lobes remain stable to over 7,000 rpm with a common .600 and .670 lift dual spring kits.
