Valve springs are one of the most critical and overlooked components in your engine. They must be matched to your cam in order for the engine to reach its full potential. The lobe profile and grind characteristics of Thumprs use a combination of early exhaust valve opening, long exhaust duration, and a generous amount of intake and exhaust overlap—to maximize the rough-idling characteristics of the cams.
