AFCO Racing Terminator SS spindle-mount adjustable struts are built with large 35mm twin tube pistons and deliver a range of adjustment that is un-matched to enhance tuning and performance. Each adjustment of these user-friendly struts is metered with a detent for precise adjustments, and they are available in two lengths to fit virtually every ride height. A perfect choice for a "no prep" style of racing, the "extra travel" models promote additional weight transfer to hook up on low-traction surfaces. For more conventional applications, the AFCO Terminator SS Series struts are available in common lengths to retro-fit to existing chassis in the field or new builds that need to fit an existing jig. Offered with aluminum or steel steering arms and either bushing or caster camber mounts, AFCO's Terminator SS spindle-mount adjustable struts allow for nearly infinite chassis tuning combinations, but more importantly, the broad range of adjustment offered will allow tuners to find the "sweet spot" for their required application setup quickly and efficiently. UMI Performance Stage 5 front suspension packages provide a solid foundation for your strip car with occasional street duty. UMI's dual tube K-member is known as the strongest in its class—and can withstand wheel stand landings and street abuse while still shaving weight, as well as protecting the oil pan. The rod end upper and lower A-arms reduce friction and unsprung weight while ensuring super-quick weight transfer. These K-members and A-arms are built from strong DOM tubing, precision-bent, CNC-notched and welded in a jig to form a solid base. Upper and lower A-arms are assembled with PTFE-lined race quality rod ends and premium ball joints. The included adjustable A-arms offer strength, weight reduction, reduced friction, and alignment adjustments when needed. Increased caster for straight-line stability can be achieved very easily with this bolt-in system. Stage 5 includes Viking A226 bearing-mounted front coilovers with double adjustable shocks that allow ride height, compression, and rebound adjustment. The A226s feature bearing ends in place of polyurethane for friction reduction, improved response, and longer lasting performance. Ride height adjustment is accomplished with the included spanner wrenches and thrust washers; while the compression and rebound adjusters are clicked by hand—and feature a total of 361 possible valving combinations. The included springs are 300 lbs./in. and work perfectly on drag race applications and vehicles with front-end weight reduction. The UMI Performance Stage 5 front suspension package is found under many F-body drag cars with single-digit ETs.
