Altronics PerformAIRE Paging Weather Centers

Motorsports' most accurate and only patented weather station, the PerformAIRE air quality computer, is now available as a trailer mounted version. These Altronics PerformAIRE Paging Weather Centers are stand-alone systems using a remote sensor housing that can be located outside the trailer in the open air. The sensor housing is an aluminum white powdercoated extrusion with dual internal fans to keep fresh air moving for accurate air measurements. The control console can be mounted inside the trailer, where run and weather data can be entered and monitored using the data entry keypad and backlit LCD display. The Weather Centers monitor temperature, absolute barometric pressure, relative humidity, vapor pressure, and dew point. This information is transmitted into a microprocessor, where density, altitude, and predicted values (ETs and timer settings) are calculated and displayed with incredible accuracy through exact scientific equations, formulated specifically for internal combustion engines. They contain a database that stores runs and then uses this data to automatically predict ETs and throttle stop settings. The predicted values are continually updated with each new sample of air, sending that data to the pager while you are in the staging lanes.
