Fox Racing Shox offers Factory Race Series 1.5 Zero IQS shocks for a variety of applications, including many late-model Ski-Doo snowmobiles. These lightweight Intelligent Quick Switch (IQS) kits are tuned specifically for harder backcountry riding with less fatigue, without compromising durability. The coil-sprung shocks are known for their range of control and supple ride through the chop and crust. This system is a peerless suspension package tailored specifically for your mountain sled. The electronically controlled suspension system allows you to adjust the performance of your sled in under a second. Depending on the conditions and terrain, tune your sled to provide optimal control and comfort in any situation. Never take a break to adjust suspension again, thanks to iQS. Fox designed the coil-sprung mountain shocks with two primary objectives: weight reduction and ride performance. They optimize the 1.5 Zero coil-sprung shocks through material reduction without a sacrifice of ride quality or structural integrity. Additionally, the coil springs were redesigned to retain the same spring rate but with fewer coils and are built from a lighter steel alloy. Designed specifically to meet the demands required by today's high performance drag race and handling/pro-touring cars, QA1's multi-patent-pending MOD Series shocks will transform the way racers respond to changing track conditions and configurations. The key element to this tunability is QuickTune Technology: dry modular valve packs that can easily be swapped out, all while the shocks remain on the car. An industry first, MOD Series shocks can easily be re-valved without interrupting the oil path or opening up the shock for debris and air contamination. Medium compression and rebound valve packs come standard; soft or firm compression and rebound valve packs are also available. Once the desired valving is in place, the unique double-adjustable design (with adjustable low-speed bleed) allows for fully independent control over the compression and rebound characteristics. With all these adjustability options, MOD Series shocks achieve an expansive force curve capability and an unprecedented level of tunability. UMI Performance Stage 5 front suspension packages provide a solid foundation for your strip car with occasional street duty. UMI's dual tube K-member is known as the strongest in its class—and can withstand wheel stand landings and street abuse while still shaving weight, as well as protecting the oil pan. The rod end upper and lower A-arms reduce friction and unsprung weight while ensuring super-quick weight transfer. These K-members and A-arms are built from strong DOM tubing, precision-bent, CNC-notched and welded in a jig to form a solid base. Upper and lower A-arms are assembled with PTFE-lined race quality rod ends and premium ball joints. The included adjustable A-arms offer strength, weight reduction, reduced friction, and alignment adjustments when needed. Increased caster for straight-line stability can be achieved very easily with this bolt-in system. Stage 5 includes Viking A226 bearing-mounted front coilovers with double adjustable shocks that allow ride height, compression, and rebound adjustment. The A226s feature bearing ends in place of polyurethane for friction reduction, improved response, and longer lasting performance. Ride height adjustment is accomplished with the included spanner wrenches and thrust washers; while the compression and rebound adjusters are clicked by hand—and feature a total of 361 possible valving combinations. The included springs are 300 lbs./in. and work perfectly on drag race applications and vehicles with front-end weight reduction.
