The all-black nylon fiber braid of the outer cover wraps around a CPE synthetic inner liner for abrasion resistance. Plus, the chlorinated polyethylene inner liner has a bonded, multi-braid stainless steel wire to improve the bend radius, with less possibility of collapsing when plumbing those tight areas. Performance Design Carbon pTR intake manifolds combine high-quality materials into a flexible and powerful tunnel ram architecture. PA6GF30 glass-reinforced nylon (lower) and 5-layer carbon fiber (upper) shells combine for lightweight, strong, and heat-resistant performance. Offering unique modular velocity stacks enabling 6 1/2 in. to 9 in. runners, multiple accessory port and sensor options along with other custom features, these high-performance manifolds offer easy configuring for a variety of hot rod builds, and can even be reversed on the engine. The plenums feature high-strength carbon fiber with high-temperature epoxy for improved strength-to-weight ratio and reduced heat soak to the fresh air charge. The polymer lower runner pack resists heat soak from the cylinder heads and hides all the ports/sensors in the valley. This combination of materials offers a 10 lbs. weight savings over competitive aluminum tunnel ram manifolds. These custom assemblies are designed for resto-mod, off-road race trucks, race boats, and hot rods where hood clearance is not an issue (they will not fit under late model vehicle hoods). LS Classic Series Tri-Power Intake Manifold Kits
The LS Classic Series Tri-Power intake manifold kits are designed to pay tribute to the baddest big block Corvettes of the late 1960's while using modern technology for ultimate performance. The intake kits are built around a modified single-plane, dual-carb aluminum intake manifold that requires dual 92mm GM four-bolt throttle bodies and LS3/EV6 or LS1/EV1 fuel injectors and accepts the LS Classic Series Tri-Power air cleaner. These kits also includes 4150 carb adapter plates, throttle body to air cleaner clamp assemblies, mounting fasteners, and cotton gauze air cleaner. These Tri-Power kits also require the use of an engine control unit and harness that will support dual drive-by-wire throttle bodies. LS Classic Series Tri-Power intake manifolds are available to work with rectangular or cathedral-port LS cylinder heads.
