Reid Racing Super Hydra 400 Transmission Cases

Redesigned and strengthened, Reid Racing Super Hydra 400 transmission cases address weaknesses and add features that improve every aspect of the Turbo 400. They build their Super Hydra 400 cases with full 360 degree internal case "lugs" that retain the center support and pressure plate. Not only are they lightweight and offer minimal drag, but their abuse tolerance has been kicked up several notches to handle high-horsepower levels without ending up with a ruined transmission! A direct replacement for the GM case, Reid cases use an incredibly expensive permanent mold casting technique to increase the case wall thickness, making it sufficient to pass SFI 4.1 certifications without the need for any external shields or internal liners. Super Hydra 400s are massively tough, ductile, and leak-free—with the strength to handle rock crawling, as well as desert or short-course truck racing. Their modular, 2-piece design allows them to be used with all popular engines by simply changing bolt-on Superglide bellhousings. ATI SuperCase TH400 Transmission Cases

ATI aluminum TH400 SuperCases feature SFI certification and a bellhousing. Developed to eliminate all weak points found in the original TH400 case, the rugged SuperCases and bellhousings are SFI-approved for competition. In addition, the SuperCases have a removable bellhousing that bolts directly to the case instead of using the pump bolt locations. They have been engineered to accept all internal TH400 components.
