These Chevrolet Performance automatic transmission controllers include the wiring harness, controller, software, and laptop hookup. They are designed to allow for the use of electronically controlled transmissions in early model vehicles. Chevrolet Performance automatic transmission controllers are fully programmable for upshift, downshift, part throttle and wide-open shifts, and shift firmness. They come preprogrammed--just enter your rear tire diameter and rear axle ratio and go, or create your own custom shift characteristics. Chevrolet Performance automatic transmission controllers were originally developed by GM Racing for off-road truck racing. They have the ability to record and graph drag racing data like time, speed, shift point, engine rpm, and more.

TCI StreetFighter automatic transmission packages are durable enough to withstand the rigors of even the toughest street machines. Using the highest quality TCI manufactured components, each StreetFighter package is equipped with an automatic valve body, most units allow you to manually shift the vehicle into each gear change or, by placing it in the drive position, remain fully automatic. This gives you racetrack shifts and shaves time off your ETs. Each transmission goes through a variety of tests to verify that internal fluid pressures and shift characteristic match TCI's strict quality control standards. For the system to operate properly, all throttle linkage, vacuum lines and kick-down components must be connected. Each transmission package consists of a triple-tested TCI transmission and precision-tuned torque converter, a universal transmission cooler and premium TCI RTF transmission fluid. Equipped with a manual/automatic valve body, most units allow you to manually shift the vehicle into each gear change or, by placing it in the drive position, remain fully automatic. In either mode, you get a race track shift that bangs through the gears and shaves time off of your ETs. When you use the manual gear selection feature, the StreetFighters upshift and downshift right when you move the lever, with no lag or governor override. When you select the normal drive position, they retain positive automatic shifts for the ease of driving you look for in an automatic transmission.

This is the first of many upgrades that go into making sure that each transmission is not only built for performance applications to handle up to 500 crank horsepower or 500 crank foot-pounds of torque. These transmissions feature a 15-pin main harness connector that's designed for factory GM applications from 2008+ or other standalone transmission controllers that utilize the input shaft speed sensor. TCI 4x Four-Speed GM automatic transmission packages for externally balanced small block Fords allow you to bolt up your Ford engine to TCI's 4x Four-Speed electronically controlled 4L80E-based transmission or their non-electronic 700R4-based transmission. Bolting right up to your engine like a stock transmission, they make it easy to adapt either of these proven transmissions to any compatible engine by including the exact bellhousing, a special adapter flexplate, pilot adapter, dipstick, and other accessories in a complete package. The 700R4-based transmission uses a Constant Pressure Valve Body to eliminate the need for careful TV cable tuning, the most common cause of 700R4 transmission failure. If you choose the 4L80E-based 4x transmission, these controls are handled electronically by your choice of the TCI EZ-TCU, TCU 2.0, or a factory GM transmission controller.
