The FAST XFI Sportsman EFI systems are a custom-tunable throttle body EFI that fills the gap between FAST EZ-EFI and XFI 2.0 systems. Designed for muscle car, late model street, race and sportsman drag racing engines, along with boosted and nitrous applications, the FAST XFI Sportsman EFI system is a fully software-tunable EFI setup. It requires a laptop for tuning and uses proven FAST C-Com software, which comes packaged along with the necessary USB connectivity cable. The system offers load-indexed speed density or Alpha-N tuning strategies; most users will use speed density strategy, which is self-tuning, but the Alpha-N option is specifically added to serve Sportsman drag racers looking for absolute consistency. The FAST XFI Sportsman EFI system features full tables to monitor fueling, acceleration fuel, timing, and air/fuel targets. A user-configurable auxiliary input channel and full-function data logging are also included. It supports both naturally aspirated and boosted applications up to 5 bar, is compatible with wet nitrous, and has nitrous timing retard control. Built-in CAN network support for the EZ-TCU, EZ-LS, XIM, and eDash means users can easily plug-and-play those components with the included CAN network wire. The FAST XFI Sportsman also features a Bosch wideband oxygen sensor, utilizes built-in diagnostic LEDs, a waterproof ECU enclosure and includes a premium, mesh-type wire loom multi-port harness. Plug-and-play with FAST Distributors, EZ-LS or XIM for electronic timing control—or use with an EFI distributor of your choice and a FAST crank trigger. The system can be used to control fuel only, and be used with a standard carb-type distributor where timing is set manually. The 8-injector, diecast throttle body features commonly available late model OEM sensors for accuracy and durability—and supports from stock to 1,200 hp engines. It flows more air than the first generation EZ-EFI throttle body due to an improved inlet, while a new secondary shaft throttle stop adjustment provides even more precise idle airflow adjustment and balance. Meanwhile, an industry exclusive and unique-to-FAST integrated fuel pulse damper creates ultra-precise fuel control and allows return or return-less style fuel systems to be used. This throttle body also incorporates needle bearing supported shafts instead of bushings and an integrated fuel rail design with crossover for tighter packaging. APR DTR6054 turbocharger systems are direct replacements for the EA888 Gen 3 engine. These upgrades include matching software for various vehicles and mods, providing up to 491 hp and 425 lbs.-ft. of torque, depending on vehicle platform and fueling, all while keeping emissions components unmodified. The software supports premium pump fuel grades, race fuel grades, and even ethanol on the Golf R, S3, and TT S platform with fueling upgrades. For dedicated race cars the turbocharger is designed with plenty of headroom to go even further on your own! Designed and developed from the ground up by APR, DTR6054 turbochargers do not require a core and there's no additional downtime. They are built using an aluminum anti-surge compressor cover with appropriate A/R matched to a larger aircraft-grade, 6061 billet aluminum 60mm compressor wheel, a turbine housing cast with high-temperature 310 stainless steel to take the heat and abuse seen on a road course, and a nickel-based superalloy K418 high-flow 54mm turbine wheel. A German dual ceramic ball bearing center section provides smooth and reliable operation with a better transient response, eliminating the factory failure-prone journal bearing design. Each kit includes the complete turbocharger with compressor inlet pipe, compressor outlet hose, T-bolt clamps, gaskets, O-rings, exhaust ring, exhaust V-band, exhaust manifold gasket, studs, bolts, and washers, oil and coolant line O-rings, and APR's ECU upgrades for select vehicles. The upgrade uses your factory electronic wastegate and diverter valve, and connects to your factory exhaust, intake, turbo outlet pipe, and oil and coolant lines. Tested at various road courses, APR's DTR6054 turbocharger systems do not spike torque hard or run on the edge of what the factory rods and pistons have been known to handle, making them as safe on the stock engine as possible for these power levels. Two is better than one. The single stock CP3 pump runs out of fuel well before peak power is produced. The solution is to install one of these Pacific Performance Engineering dual fueler CP3 injection pump kits. The dual fueler pump and factory pump work in conjunction, each delivering half of the total fuel volume requested by the engine computer. In the event of one pump failing, the electronic controller will automatically switch all fuel delivery responsibilities to the remaining operational pump. The kits will not produce more fuel pressure than the engine ECU requests; they will only increase fuel volume as needed to maintain ECU-requested fuel pressure.
