Performance Design Carbon pTR intake manifolds combine high-quality materials into a flexible and powerful tunnel ram architecture. PA6GF30 glass-reinforced nylon (lower) and 5-layer carbon fiber (upper) shells combine for lightweight, strong, and heat-resistant performance. Offering unique modular velocity stacks enabling 6 1/2 in. to 9 in. runners, multiple accessory port and sensor options along with other custom features, these high-performance manifolds offer easy configuring for a variety of hot rod builds, and can even be reversed on the engine. The plenums feature high-strength carbon fiber with high-temperature epoxy for improved strength-to-weight ratio and reduced heat soak to the fresh air charge. The polymer lower runner pack resists heat soak from the cylinder heads and hides all the ports/sensors in the valley. This combination of materials offers a 10 lbs. weight savings over competitive aluminum tunnel ram manifolds. These custom assemblies are designed for resto-mod, off-road race trucks, race boats, and hot rods where hood clearance is not an issue (they will not fit under late model vehicle hoods). LS Classic Series '62 Chevy Fuelie intake manifold systems are designed to give your LS engine the look of GM's iconic Corvette "flat top" mechanical fuel injection system while using modern technology for ultimate performance. These systems are based on a cast-aluminum, two-piece manifold, just like the originals. These intake systems include billet aluminum fuel rails, all mounting hardware, and gaskets. These systems require GM LS3 OEM fuel injectors and a GM four-bolt, 92mm, drive-by-wire throttle body and are compatible with GM and aftermarket engine control units and harnesses that support both drive-by-wire and speed density tuning. LS Classic Series '62 Fuelie intake manifold systems are available for rectangular or cathedral-port LS cylinder heads. Order the intake manifold system suited to fit your application.
