EMAX Industrial Plus Silent Air Piston Compressors
EMAX Industrial Plus Silent Air piston compressors are quiet. The most common complaints about compressors are their high noise levels. EMAX Silent Air units not only still the noise, but they also do it with a big cfm output and lower rpm. Featuring their Whisper 100 system installed on the back of the tanks, stationary compressor dB ratings are reduced by as much as 25 percent. The Whisper dissipates compressor intake noise by channeling intake air through a series of baffle plates and prefilter media inside the silencer cabinet. Piston intake noise is trapped and dissipated within the silencer structure; plus, it also provides secondary filtration for cleaner air. Industrial Plus Silent Air piston compressors are designed for up to 50,000 hours of commercial or industrial use with proper maintenance. At the core of these extremely durable compressors are super-quiet pumps featuring cast iron crankcases, precision-balanced cast iron crankshafts, and high-quality stainless steel roller bearings to ensure smooth, efficient operation. For long life and rebuildability, EMAX adds steel connecting rods with replaceable rod bearing inserts, removable cast iron cylinders and cylinder heads, disc intake and exhaust valves, and cast iron flywheels with a built-in fan. These bigger low-rpm pumps have a larger bore and stroke, so you get big cfm output with reduced friction and heat buildup. All EMAX Industrial Plus compressors have low-rpm motors (1,750 rpm). Because of their higher torque factor, compared to the 3,450 rpm motors most manufacturers use, they run much cooler. They also yield low harmonic distortion, provide much higher torque in cold weather starting, and require less electricity to start. Other features include big 1 3/8 in. output shafts, large starting and running capacitors, and dynamically balanced armatures. Their 15 Service Factor means the motors can be pulled 15 percent over full load. Depending on the application, many Silent Air piston compressors feature totally enclosed, fan-cooled (TEFC) motors that keep harmful dust and particulates out of the motor. This allows them to be used in dusty commercial and industrial environments without worrying about maintenance. They have 100 percent copper windings with pre-wired magnetic starters (necessary on any motor over 15 amps). These are high-quality, name brand, premium efficiency motors that meet all UL and CSA requirements. Some lower horsepower models are equipped with name brand, open-drip (OPD) motors. The running and starting windings on these motors are all 100 percent copper-wound for premium efficiency, reliable performance, and durability. These units also meet all UL and CSA requirements and include pre-wired Condor combination starter and pressure switches with actuation-type diaphragms. For high performance Ford Raptor suspension components, ICON Vehicle Dynamics is an industry leader. With their 3.0 coilovers and bypasses, billet aluminum upper control arms, and bolt-on rear bump stop system, drivers of ICON-equipped Ford Raptors are able to push their vehicles to a whole new level. It's this level of off-road abuse that prompted ICON to develop a 3.0 Secondary Bypass shock engineered to work perfectly with the Camburg Performance Dual Shock Lower Control Arm kit. The addition of this 3.0 Secondary Bypass means rougher terrain and larger off-road obstacles can be overcome with speed and confidence. With the turn of a knob, the compression and rebound damping of these shocks can be tuned to perfectly complement the rest of ICON's Raptor suspension products for an unparalleled level of on and off-road performance. The ICON Ford SVT Raptor Secondary front shocks are a 3-tube external bypass shock with remote reservoir. These are far from the norm when compared to a traditional bypass shock you see on trophy trucks and other off-road race vehicles. Each bypass valve has a specific port design and is individually equipped with a different spring rate to ensure proper performance at each zone of shock travel. These same bypass valves feature damped valve seats for quiet and precise operation. That means no clicking noises as you hit bumps or road chatter driving down the road. The biggest difference in these shocks versus an industry standard bypass shock is the "Easy-to-Adjust" knobs and the replaceable bypass tubes. The "Easy to Adjust" hi-resolution clicker knobs do not require any tools for adjustment, and can be adjusted in seconds for the demand of the terrain you'll be facing. Another unique feature of this shock is the replaceable bypass tubes that can be swapped out during a standard rebuild if any damage were to occur, where a normal bypass shock body would need to be completely replaced, saving you hundreds of dollars.
