Whether you have a mundane daily driver or a high-horsepower racer, Vortech has a supercharger kit for you. Their centrifugal supercharger kits feature lightweight aluminum impellers that are heat-treated and high-speed balanced to ensure smooth operation. An O-ring compressor housing seal and an innovative impeller seal improve sealing and reduce friction. Vortech has taken away the headaches of building a custom kit by engineering these kits to have a true OEM-quality fit and finish. Each kit is 100 percent complete, right down to the wire ties. Most kits include a matched compressor supercharger unit with SQ technology for "Super Quiet" operation. A high-flow air intake system with a reusable air filter, heat-resistant silicone hose couplings, and premium-grade flex hose is included as well. Vortech Carbureted Entry-Level Supercharger Kits

Receive unprecedented value and add up to 75 percent more horsepower to your small block Chevy with these carbureted entry-level supercharger kits. These kits feature the Vortech PowerHat with diffusion technology and they will produce approximately 5 psi at 5,500 rpm on a mildly modified 350 engine. Additionally, most OEM Saginaw-type power steering pumps can be attached to the Vortech mounting bracket by using the supplied hardware in the kits. Important information or requirements for the Vortech carbureted entry-level supercharger kits: * These systems were designed to fit on engines equipped with a "long" water pump and OEM V-belt drives or serpentine accessory drives; for correct belt alignment, the proper accessory drive crank pulley and accessory bracketry must be used * Earlier models equipped with short water pumps will require a long water pump to be installed * Quick Fuel, Demon, or Holley 4150-type, 4-barrel carburetor with mechanical secondaries designed for "blow-though" applications (may require rejetting or minor modification) * High performance, boost-referenced fuel pump * Compressor bypass valve * Accessory belts (will vary per application, depending on accessory configuration and supercharger pulley diameters) * Minor (bottom-side) modifications may be required, depending on the vehicle and type of intake manifold installed on the engine

From 1.2L engines to large displacement, high-horsepower racing engines, Vortech has a supercharger for you. Vortech superchargers are developed to achieve maximum performance, efficiency, and durability. Impellers are investment-cast from a lightweight proprietary aluminum alloy, heat-treated, CNC-machined to exact tolerances, and high-speed balanced to ensure smooth operation. Gear cases and volutes are cast from a premium A356 aluminum alloy, heat-treated, and CNC-machined to ensure production consistency. Most models feature our exclusive "D" port volute for improved efficiency. Drive gears are manufactured from premium billet alloy steel, heat-treated, precision-ground on automated CNC machines to aircraft tolerances, and engineered to operating speeds exceeding 70,000 rpm. The bearings are made in America to Vortech's precision tolerances. An O-ring compressor housing seal and innovative impeller seal improve sealing, reduce friction, and allow upstream throttle or draw-through use. High-pressure engine oil is used for cooling, lubrication, and very low maintenance. For optimum flexibility, most Vortech superchargers are upgraedable, and come available with a straight or curved discharge, clockwise or counterclockwise rotation, a satin or polished finish, and standard or heavy-duty configuration for use with cog belt drive systems.
