Building a fully hydraulic steering system can be quite a project. Thankfully, Trail-Gear has taken all of the guesswork out of the process with these complete, user-friendly hydraulic steering kits! Everything you will need is included, such as mounting brackets specifically designed for Toyota apps. The steering pump has an all-steel housing and emits 4.5 gpm of flow and 1,650 psi of pressure. Each high-pressure hose is steel-braided with crimped-on ends. These kits are available in 6, 8, and 10 in. ram sizes, and are ideal for use with links and most leaf spring applications. Trail-Gear Assembled Super Finish Third Members
Trail-Gear assembled Super Finish third members are made from tool-grade 8620 steel and heat-treated for maximum strength and wear resistance. They include all new parts and are ready to drop into your axle with top-quality Super Finish 29-spline ring and pinion gears, and your choice of locker. The ring and pinion gears are treated with the REM Isotropic Super Finishing (ISF) process, which removes the microscopic peaks in the material and creates a surface on the ring and pinion gears with a roughness of less than 10 µin Ra. This means that there is less friction between the gears, reducing wear by 95 percent, and allowing the gears and bearings to run cooler and last longer. Select the ideal kit for your application.
