PSC offers hydraulic steering cylinder assist axle kits for a variety of Jeep applications from the 1980s and up. The 6 in. or 8 in. stroke kits are available with different components; some include a steering box, pump, and fluid cooler. PSC Full Hydraulic Steering Systems
Rock Crawlers, Ultra 4 Racers, and Rock Racers all need extra help turning locked axles with large tires over rocks and other wild terrain. PSC full hydraulic steering systems turn up to 44 in. tall tires as smooth as glass. They feature new hydraulic cylinders, orbital control valves, and full hydraulic hose kits. Most of the included steering stub collars and brackets require welding. These quick ratio systems change valving and should be used sparingly on paved roads. PSC full hydraulic steering systems are designed to ease arm-strong issues on full time off-road machines.

PSC Hydraulic Assist Steering Systems
Oversize tires, lockers, and rocks will quickly have your stock steering system whining for help. Increase turning force by an average of 50 percent with PSC hydraulic assist steering systems. They feature a new hydraulic-assist steering cylinder with all required mounting brackets, hoses, and fittings. Their new steering gear boxes have been modified for cylinder assist. Many late-model Jeeps are equipped with new computer controlled electro-hydraulic steering (EHPS), electronic stability control (ESC), electronic roll mitigation (ERM), and a weight-saving aluminum housing steering gearbox. PSC has taken the Jeep steering system back to the drawing board and engineered its exclusive Big Bore XD steering gearbox and a traditional belt-driven high-flow mechanical power steering pump conversion.
