The basic body of the tool consists of three pieces of aluminum tubing. The tubing pieces are 5 in., 3 in. and 1.5 in. long. On two pieces of the tubing, one end is male and the other is female and each end is threaded. Outer ends accept a screw-in pushrod ball end. In total, the pushrod length checking tools are adjustable from 6 in. to 12 in.
