Competition Engineering rod ends are available in a number of sizes, in both right-hand and left-hand threads, and all come with jam nuts. Their all-steel bodies are available in low-carbon, chromoly, or forged steel. Competition Engineering highly recommends that you use chromoly rod ends exclusively with their 4-link and ladder-bar suspension kits, with polyurethane-lined types reserved for street applications with ladder bars. COMP Cams offers a complete line of valve seals, from the stock GM O-rings to the positive-stop PTFE seals. They are a must to keep unwanted oil from entering the combustion chamber through the clearance in the valve guides. The O-ring seals use the standard retainer and oil splash shield.
