You're not going to believe how beefy these things are! Trail Gear Rock Assault 6-ply limit straps are the industry's first 6 layer, 1 3/4 in. nylon webbing limit straps. These straps are rated at 9000 lbs. breaking strength with zero stretch. The 4130 heat-treated chromoly steel clevis buckles that have been zinc-plated for corrosion resistance and have 1/2 in. mounting holes. Limit strap failure is caused by two elements: abrasion and misalignment. An adjustable clevis gives the ability to adjust your limit strap to the desired length, as well as allowing the strap to articulate and pull straight. PRP Seats adjustable limit strap clevises allow you to install one, two, or three limit straps per clevis. They afford you the ability to fine tune the strap's measurement to compensate for stretching that typically occurs due to the combined weight of the wheels/tires/arms pulling on the limit strap. As the strap stretches out, simply adjust the clevis to re-tighten the strap. Keeping it at the optimal length prevents damage to the shocks or binding the CVs.
