PEM Racing offers pinion bearing spacer kits for a variety of applications, such as Ford 9 in. axles. They replace the crush sleeve in a differential, offering a more precise and reliable way to control pinion bearing preload. Each spacer is a solid piece of machined steel that, unlike a crush sleeve, allows for precise adjustments using shims—ensuring the correct preload and potentially reducing the need for re-tightening the pinion nut. Kits are available with or without shims for Daytona pinion supports.
