Competition Engineering's snap-in race harness mounting plates create a strong, reinforced point that an anti-submarine belt and/or lap belt can be snapped to. Made from thick 12-gauge steel, these mounting plates are to be installed on the exterior side of the floor pan or transmission tunnel. Once a 1/2 in. diameter hole is drilled into the floor pan or tunnel for the anti-submarine belt and/or lap belt, the mounting plate is positioned so the plate's included hardware can be tightened.
