Competition Engineering's bolt-in race harness mounting plates are designed to be installed on the outside of the floor pan or transmission tunnel to create a strong, reinforced point that an anti-submarine belt and/or lap belt can be bolted to. The mounting plates are made of thick 12-gauge steel and need to be welded in place and includes bolt and spacer to allow the harnesses bolt-in hardware to be raised off the floor or tunnel for proper belt positioning. Once a 1/2 in. diameter hole is drilled into the floor pan or tunnel for the anti-submarine belt and/or lap belt, the mounting plate is positioned so the plate
