Summit Racing™ quick-release fastener weld plates are the anchors for quarter-turn, cam-lock, quick-release fasteners, including our own Summit Racing™ lines and other forms of quarter-turn fasteners. They mount on the part of the vehicle to which you are attaching the removable panel--and carry the special spring that the fastener uses as an anchor. These plates are a required part in many quick-release fastener installations. Order the set needed for your panel thickness.

Summit Racing™ quick-release fasteners are ideal for applications where fast and frequent access is required. These quarter-turn, cam-lock fasteners that are perfect for holding fiberglass, metal, or composite bodywork and components in place. In order to retain these removable components securely, they pass through the part being held in place. Then they grab onto special springs mounted to an appropriate part of the vehicle, often on special metal weld plates.

They can provide a convenient mounting location for the springs that are the anchor points for self-ejecting Dzus and other cam-lock fasteners.
