They provide complete rope protection from damaging UV light, as well as impact and abrasion damage, and when in use all exposed synthetic rope surfaces are positioned behind the guard and fairlead, allowing you to use the Rope Guard as a skid surface when attempting to climb tall vertical obstacles. Factor 55 FlatLink Rope Guards are available in several styles to fit all the winch shackle mounts in the FlatLink family, and each one features Kaiser 6000 Series billet aluminum construction with a clearcoat finish for maximum corrosion protection.
